Advanced Fighting Intensive w/ Brad Martin | Feb. 25th | Atlas Stunt Academy
Take your stunts and fighting for film skills to the next level with Brad Martin, a seasoned professional in the industry. This advanced workshop is designed for those who have a solid foundation in martial arts for film and are looking to master more complex and dynamic fight scenes, and learn the newest industry standard techniques.
The workshop will cover in depth:
- Do a fight that looks aggressive
- Do a fight that looks uncontrolled
- Do a fight that looks weak
- Improve their reaction timing
- Determine if a hit sold while performing
- Identify which hits sold and which didn’t while performing
- Be the leader in a fight for someone less experienced
- Be the follower in a fight with someone more experienced
Brad Martin has been directing, designing and performing action in Hollywood for 30 years. As a stuntman he has been Spider-Man, Batman, Robin, Daredevil and Mr. Smith from The Matrix. Amongst scores of other film projects, in 2008 he won the Taurus Red Bull Movie Awards for “Best Stunt Coordinator” for his work in Live Free or Die Hard. Most recently Brad was the action director for Paramount’s 2023 film, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
This workshop is intended for stunt performers who want to improve their fight performance skills.
