Fight Choreography Design w/ Brad Martin | Feb. 26th | Atlas Stunt Academy
Learn the art of designing and choreographing fight scenes from industry expert Brad Martin in this advanced workshop. This class is designed for experienced fight performers and choreographers who are looking to take their skills to the next level, and learn how to create dynamic and visually stunning fight sequences for film, television.
The workshop will cover how to:
- Tell a story with a fight
- Plan the camera angles of a fight
- Film a fight scene
- Work with a camera operator to film a fight
- Evaluate the choreography of a scene
- Identify moves in a choreo that are not camera friendly
Brad Martin has been directing, designing and performing action in Hollywood for 30 years. As a stuntman he has been Spider-Man, Batman, Robin, Daredevil and Mr. Smith from The Matrix. Amongst scores of other film projects, in 2008 he won the Taurus Red Bull Movie Awards for “Best Stunt Coordinator” for his work in Live Free or Die Hard. Most recently Brad was the action director for Paramount’s 2023 film, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
This workshop is intended for stunt performers who are working as fight choreographers or would like to become fight choreographers.
